Chuan Do lessons are not about how many kicks or punches or indeed sit ups are done.
It is rather an imparting of internal principles from Teacher to student for them to go away and internalize them into their own body.
The beauty of this is the Teacher having already internalized these principles can see whether or not the student has achieved them in their’s. There is no guesswork involved.
Chuan Do training starts with teaching balance and coordination throughout the body and builds on the base this provides. The Chuan Do Philosophy, as developed by Master Ko, places priority on physical fitness with the Tai Chi Chuan form as a stepping stone.
It is rather self -improvement than fighting techniques. It teaches how to make the best use of our physical and mental capacity. Every movement is natural, balanced, well coordinated and refined.
The keen practitioners will not only have good health, but also, through the principles of Chuan Do, develop a brave and confident character with an improved attitude towards life.
